OK... update y'all...
Back in Savannah again. Hasn't been so bad. I've been able to come and go as I please, pretty much, provided that I a) call home first and b) convince Timothy to give me a ride. BTW, NEVER, and I do mean NEVER, get into a car with Timothy in the driver's seat. His driving is going to shorten his lifespan by a good 50 years. It's already put some grey hairs on my head...
Anyhow, yeah. I hung out with Jill and the old otaku crew from Friday to Sunday. Mostly Jill. I got her to watch "Ai no Kusabi" (technically it's distributing porn to a minor, but whatever). She nearly cried. People who showed up on Saturday included Renee, Katherine, Chibi, Jordan, some new girl named Crystal, and some friend of Jordan's. Got to show off my NW doujin scans and the miracle picture of Touga and Saionji that Rio made, tee hee.
We went to MediaPlay twice. The first time was because Katherine has a bootleg copy of LotR, and I wanted her to make a copy of it for me. Hence, blank tapes. I also got some "Evil Dead" buttons and the "FAKE" DVD (they actually had it... marvelous...). We scoped out the new Wolfwood bust--have you seen the eyelashes on that thing? You could stab someone to death with 'em. And I got to have a talk with Chibi that hopefully helped her out in some fashion.
The second time, we decided to randomly cosplay. Jill went as Female Lusiphur from Poison Elves, I was Irvine from FF8, Katherine was Hotohori from Fushigi Y?gi, and Courtney was a random harem girl. And Chibi went as herself. ^_^ It was fun.
Yesterday, I went to Armstrong with Steph and sat in on one of her classes. Then we went to the mall and wandered around and chatted, and basically caught up... 's all good...
Wandering away now...

Probably my last entry for a healthy span of time.
Went out with Jerry one last time. Was nice. We saw an Orlando Bloom lookalike working as a waiter at the Tu Tu Tango's. Jerry got pictures. It should be amusing when those pictures develop.
And Jerry got me... *counts* The Rocky Horror 25th anniversary DVD, the JTHM T-shirt, an LotR T-shirt with the Ringwraiths on it, a skully with cat ears on it... and pics of the Orlando Bloom lookalike. No, Jer, I still don't understand you, but I've determined that you're one of the richest/sweetest guys I've ever encountered, so it's all good. ^_~
I'm scrambling to make sure I have all my files, either uploading them onto Angelfire or emailing them to myself. Argh.

I will keep the walls around my heart firmly in place.
They're not ready to be taken down yet.
They are weatherbeaten and pockmarked and scarred, but they still serve a purpose.
I can only hope that their structure remains intact until I no longer need them.
After all, without our walls, without our shields and armor and blinders... all we have left is the truth.
And is there anything more painful than that?

Well.
Rio just stormed out of the house.
No discernable reason that I can find.
She walked into the living room as I was looking for some fic. I laughed and told her that she'd love it. 's a tripp. She ignores me, just puts on her sandals. I ask her what she's doing. She says she's going out. I ask her where, she says she doesn't know. I ask her why, she says that she's really upset. And leaves.

You know, I AM FUCKING SICK AND TIRED OF THIS SHIT. I thought we'd just worked out whatever problems, and she pulls this? I FEEL LIKE THE MAN IN THIS GODDAM FUCKING FRIENDSHIP!!!!!! You know, the little, scrawny, pussywhipped husband with the psychopathic wife who tells him when to wipe his ass and when to breathe. Every time I think that something with her is worked out, some GODDAMNED FUCKING SHIT like this has to happen, and I have to FUCKING START ALL OVER AGAIN!!
Christ, I think I'm going to cry now...
I just... if she doesn't trust me anymore... what the fuck kind of friend am I?
And if she gave a flying shit about ME, would she put me through all this emotional stress, when I have enough already?
I feel like my muscles are inches from snapping all the time. My back has lumps in it from the knotted muscles.
And she expects me to be able to deal with HER mood swings? Christ in a sidecar, I can't fucking deal with MY mood swings!!
I just... want to give up sometimes.

I have promised Steve that I will not write another word on another story until I finish "Cuisine"... and I feel like climbing the walls. I've been smacked by my muse to write the next section of "This Is What Your Love Has Brought Me", which makes it even worse... *runs into a wall*

"I've seen "LotR" three times now, and each time, I get blown away by the fantastic acting jobs--by you, of course, and by the other actors. Just thought I'd get that out of the way.
My question is this... I read a great deal of fanfiction, or stories written by fans about movies and books. A lot of "slash" (fanfiction where the characters are portrayed as homosexual) has been appearing in regards to LotR since the movies. The writers are usually (wrongly, in my opinion) sent hate mail for their stories. Were you at all aware of this, and what are your feelings on the subject?

Urg. I'm working tomorrow... isn't that funny? I'm "on call" until I move, pretty much. Ah well... 's forty bucks.
The next site update is going all right... there's a ton of LotR slashfics going up. Not all the fics I wanted, though... I emailed one girl asking if I could host her fic, but once I told her it was a slash site, she hasn't emailed me back. ^-^;;; Her loss, I guess.
